Who Are We

The mission of the School of Applied Integrative Therapy (SchoolAIT) is to provide high-quality, evidence-informed education in equine and small animal massage, acupressure, and bodywork. We are dedicated to advancing the field through rigorous curriculum design, high standards of ethical and professional practice, and support of student personal development.

SchoolAIT promotes educational excellence by integrating foundational sciences with practical application and personal awareness. We aim to prepare qualified graduates who contribute meaningfully to the health and well-being of animals while upholding the values of integrity, safety, and compassion in all aspects of their work.

The School of Applied Integrative Therapy (SchoolAIT) is a comprehensive learning platform offering online, distance, and hands-on education for equine bodywork and massage. What began as a certified equine massage and bodywork professional program—driven by a heartfelt need for compassionate, skilled, and well-qualified Equine Bodyworkers—has evolved into a vibrant school supporting the well-being of both animals and their people.

In addition to our in-depth certification program, we are proud to offer a Mastery Membership—a collaborative space for equine bodywork practitioners and those interested in the field to continue learning, expand their knowledge, and elevate equine bodywork to greater heights

At SchoolAIT, we explore a variety of massage and acupressure modalities, always remaining within our professional scope of practice. But what truly sets our school apart is our emphasis on empathy, feel, and connection. Technical knowledge is essential—but the heart of this work lies in deepening our awareness, presence, and ability to connect. Opportunities to develop these skills are woven with intention throughout our coursework, offering each student an individualized and truly transformative experience.

Based in Wyoming and licensed as a Chapter 1 proprietary institution by the Wyoming Department of Education, SchoolAIT is committed to maintaining high standards of practice. Our in-depth certification programs in equine bodywork, and equine and small animal acupressure, are approved by the National Board of Certification for Animal Acupressure and Massage (NBCAAM) and several other credentialing organizations. These programs include all required curriculum components such as theory, anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, ethics, and business practices. Graduates of these programs are fully qualified to sit for the NBCAAM national board exam.
