My Story
Welcome. I’m Kim—a lifelong student of nature, healing, and the sacred connection between animals and humans.
My path has been anything but conventional. From an early age, I felt drawn to the quiet wisdom of horses, the healing rhythms of the earth, and the unseen energies that flow through all living things. That calling led me to explore a wide range of studies—from veterinary technology, wildlife biology and rangeland management to massage therapy, energy work, and indigenous healing traditions.
What began as a personal journey of healing evolved into a professional calling. After graduating from Dr. Jay Scherer’s Academy of Natural Healing in Santa Fe, I was one of the first students to incorporate horses into a massage internship. That opportunity changed the course of my life. I went on to study with masters in both human and animal modalities, completing certifications in equine and small animal acupressure through Tallgrass and immersing myself in bodywork, natural horsemanship, and the science of the body.
But the deepest learning has come from the horses themselves—and from the people, the land, and stories I’ve had the privilege to witness. My hands have become my teachers, and my practice is guided by intuition, respect, and a quiet listening to what lies beneath the surface.
In 2018, I founded the School of Applied Integrative Therapy (SchoolAIT) as a way to bring together the art and science of equine bodywork. This school is more than a certification program—it’s a community, a spiritual offering, and a living expression of everything the horses have taught me. Through it, I help students learn not just technique, but trust in their own hands, hearts, and gifts.
I continue to deepen my work through studies in Andean energy medicine with The Four Winds Society, and through daily connection with the natural world. My passion lies in creating sacred space—for learning, healing, and remembering the truth of who we are.
Thank you for being here. May your journey—like mine—be guided by intuition, inspired by nature, and blessed by the quiet wisdom of horses and all animals.
